Fineline Crackle

Create a beautiful, cracked surface similar to old porcelain using this Fineline Crackle varnish. Simply apply component 1 to the already decorated object and let it dry. Then, apply component 2 and rub it in with your fingers. Watch as the second layer of varnish dries and cracks, creating a unique pattern that can be enhanced with non-water-based coloring materials like PENTART liquid patina or antique paste. The cracks will vary in size depending on the thickness of the layers and drying time. Keep in mind that the second layer will not be waterproof, so apply a layer of solvent varnish from PENTART the next day to protect it.
